Mostly tests. Physical to test your fitness. Weapons, hand to hand, basic medical. If you specialize, you need to demonstrate your abilities. There's a few other things.

...Are you signing on with a group or going solo?

Okay. Take extra care, solo mercs usually get snapped up or off, especially in Gul-sh.

Also, there's a mercenary group out there called Control. Stay. Far. Away. Don't have anything to do with them, I wouldn't even recommend being hired against them. They're bad news. I can give you a list.

Yeah, I'm with you on that one.

They find mercs that are down on their luck and get them to sign contracts that help at first, but are near impossible to get out of later. They've even gone as far as to kidnap... people and force them into the mercenary business if they show potential. They're ruthless, cruel, have no issues with threatening sh-ildren and care little for their employees as long as they stay under them. My group's been at war with them for some months now. Please, Wash, for your own safety and my sanity, have nothing to do with them.

[He doesn't think about killing those two reds, just because they weren't useful, or setting the Meta on Doc. Sounds like he'd fit in well enough with this group. Except he doesn't work with others and doesn't want to be tied down.]
