Things at home look somewhat less bleak. Everyone made it home safely, the house didn't burn down, and everyone went to sleep eventually. Not bad for my second day on the job, though I'm a little worried about my homework.

That's good. Take the victories as they come and a still-standing house is a good victory. And surprisingly ease to not achieve sometimes... You running out of time?

I have a quiz this afternoon and I'm having trouble sitting down to study. I feel like I should be somewhere, taking care of someone, not sitting and reading. I believe the word is "antsy."

Is it bad that I'm grateful to have him back? He has been hurt, but so has our whole family. It's like you said. Maybe we can sort things out now.

Mercenary work is still work. Technically. You do a think and get paid for it, that counts as a job.

I mean, I don't know the whole situation, but I wouldn't say it's bad that you're glad to have him back. All the best.

You have me there. I just don't know how regularly his jobs will be, or how much he's being paid. I thought I would have to worry about that. Now. . . maybe not.
